Mushroom progress

Progress

Yesterday Nevaeh and I sowed some more seeds; parsley, lettuce, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes and capsicum while Kian painted some of the wood we are using for the gardens. Then today, he painted more while I started building up the garden with cardboard, newspaper and sticks, and Nevaeh potted around in the dirt. We also went out and bought some young herbs.

The new place

So this is what we have to work with;

Its difficult to capture it all in one photo. Theres heaps of space for children and a dog to run around, plus a trampoline, vege gardens, compost bins, a worm farm and one day maybe a rabbit hutch.

And there is a lemon tree;

I want to learn more about which fruit trees can grow well in pots. We don’t own the property so probably wont be planting fruit trees here.
